An incomplete (chipped) copper-alloy Roman nummus of Valentinian I (AD 364-375), dating to the period c. AD 364-367 (Reece Period 19). GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting the Emperor advancing right, holding standard and dragging captive. Reverse legend reads: []ORIA RO-MAN[] . Obverse depicts a diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Obverse legend reads: DN []NTIN[]. Mint: Lyon. Mint mark: O FII//[L]VG[V]S. As RIC Vol IX, page 44, no. 10a, mint mark vi(b)
